Astragalus Root // Your Intro Herb

I have had more clients ask me about herbs in the last month than ever before.

Cool brands with lots of press have made these superfoods more mainstream. This makes me very happy — more healthy and happy souls!

There are many mixtures of herbs on the market but I always tell clients to try 1-2 single herbs first. See how you feel. And go from there.

My favorite is Astragalus Root powder.

Astragalus has changed my life. I cannot live without it.

This bad boy is extremely high vibe and you’ll feel its’ effect immediately.

Astragalus has been used in Tradition Chinese Medicine for thousands of years as an adaptogen aiding in stress and immunity. Less stress means less damage to the body and skin — aka slow aging.

It’s an anti-viral, anti-microbial, and an anti-inflammatory!

Astragalus’ greatest superpower is it’s ability is to protect against cell damage and free radicals in the body.

So you can live a long, disease-free, happy life!

Be mindful though — although herbs are natural they can have a profound effect on the body. So ease into it.

As with anything, you’ll want to focus on the quality. Just like vitamins, herbs are not regulated so you have to do your research. Luckily for you I’ve done the homework for you on this one!

I prefer astragalus in powder form as I enjoy it’s fluffiness. Renew is my favorite brand of astragalus root powder.

The taste is sweet and bitter and can overpower certain dishes so be careful with usage. I recommend starting with 1/2 of a teaspoon and go from there.

Some of my favorite things to add astragalus to are smoothies, Bulletproof coffee, soups, and nighttime tonics!
